Muftah Benomran: CEO and Founder A project manager by training and experience, Muftah decided to found LibyaBusiness TV after witnessing and participating in the Libyan revolution of 2011, with the aim to help promote the successful reconstruction of Libya. With a vision of developing a tool that would provide a multimedia source of information to businesses seeking to work in Libya, Muftah felt that technology and web presence were the best means to diffuse information and encourage transparency. Muftah is involved in every step of the Libyabusiness TV project and aims for it to become the primary source of information for businesses in Libya.



Peter Middleton: Head of Production Peter is the Managing Director of the OnlineTVGroup and The Video News Company producing high quality online video content and online tv channels for corporates, consumers, trade bodies and news organizations such as LibyaBusiness.tv. His achievements in broadband TV were recognized in December of 2008 when he was awarded the prestigious “Entrepreneur of the Year Award” from the British Promotional Merchandise Association. Most recently he has designed and development of an impressive video-based e-learning system that will greatly improve the quality and ease of delivery of on-line training as well as delegate assessment and tracking.

Mina Monir: Chief Editor of LBTV Mina Monir holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Ain Shams University, Egypt and an MA in Pastoral Theology from Cambridge Theological Federation. He is a PhD candidate at King's College London. Mina worked as a political analyst and editor for several journals and magazines in Cairo and London. He is currently the Chief Editor of Libya Business TV, London. He also manages the MENA team.

Eric Butterworth: Senior Advisor Eric Butterworth worked on a number of projects in Libya including the Al Fateh University in Tripoli, 25 new universities across the country, the African Economic City, Healthcare City, feasibility studies for hospital projects and several mixed use and commercial schemes. His qualifications include MSc (Project Management), FRICS (Chartered Surveyor and Chartered Project Manager), FAPM, and a Post Grad Diploma in property development. Mr Butterworth is responsible for developing LibyaBusiness TV’s network of British companies working or seeking to work in Libya, as well as helping us identify the challenges faced by international companies wishing to enter the Libyan market.

Hind Bensari: Business Development Manager Hind holds a BA in Economics and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Edinburgh. Prior to joining LibyaBusiness TV, Hind worked as an analyst for a corporate finance boutique firm in London and Abu Dhabi, before specialising in commodity recruitment. Today, Hind is responsible for developing the corporate network of LibyaBusiness TV, partnering with firms and event organisers, as well as writing the content of the Business Guide.

Dr. Elizabeth Iskander: Editor and Advisor Elizabeth Iskander is a research fellow at the German Institute for Global and Area Studies and a visiting fellow at the Middle East Centre at the London School of Economics and Political Science. She holds a PhD in Politics and International Studies from the University of Cambridge. Her research focuses on conflict prevention, power and identity, and politics and religion in the Middle East. Elizabeth oversees the research published at LibyaBusiness TV and laid the foundations of the Business Guide.

Salem Ehtawsh: Business & Finance Consultant Salem is specialist in banking and finance. He holds a MBA from the University of Bangor / Wales in 2011 also a PhD from the University of Manchester Metropolitan, UK, in 2006. During the last fifteen years Salem had worked for several organizations, included the UK Financial Services Authority; the British Arab Commercial Bank and recently for the Central Bank of Libya. Salem is currently a project consultant at Libya Business TV London.
